Liars
Liars is a group of Rock New Yorkais formed in 2001.
Biography
Beginning in the form from a Quartet, the group publishes a first album in 2001, recorded in two days, and produced by Steve Revitte: They Threw Us All In has Trench And Stuck has Monument One Signal . It will be republished by the label Blast First in 2002. Their music mixes Punk, Funk and electronic sounds in the style of the Revival Post-punk of the moment, with a very marked sound personality. Their second album They Were Wrong, So We Drowned mark a turning: The group (from now on in Trio) is directed towards a more experimental rock'n'roll and bruitist, tinted tribal influences (what will cause the loss of part of their public). Liars continue however in this way with their third album, Drum' S Not Dead , published in 2006, where sonorities Post-rock'n'roll are added. In addition to their atypical music, Liars are characterized by the titles long and absurd their pieces ( Let' S Not Wrestle MT. Heart Attack , We Fenced Other Gardens With Bones Off Our Own , Grown Men Don' T Fall In To rivet Just Like That ). To note that Stalemate Noecker and Ron Albertson, which left the group in 2002, formed N0 Things, author of the album Trees (2006).
