Liao Xilong (born in 1940 with Sinan, in the province of Guizhou, China), military Chinese, general in the popular Armed with release (APL).

the General Liao Xilong , formed to the Military academy of the popular Army of release, adheres to the Chinese Communist party in February 1963.

He enters the army at the 19 years age, in 1959, and makes his career in the Infanterie and took part in the war against the Vietnam (1979).

Member of the Central committee of the Chinese Communist party since 1997, the general Liao Xilong is also member of the central military Commission of the Party and the central military Commission of China. He was promoted director of the general Department of logisitic of the popular Army of release in November 2002.

Of 1995 with 2002, it was ordering military region of Chengdu.
