Li-Year

Born in 1965 with Dombasle-on-Meurthe, Li-Year is an author of Cartoon French whose true name is Jean-Michel Meyer .

Wire of a Tahiti enne of Chinese origin and of a soldier, it much travelled and changed place of residence during its youth. He thus lived with Madagascar, Constance, Saint-Malo, Rheims, Tahiti, Bourgueil and finally with Orleans. He also was with the Arrow for his military boarding school.

He cultivates an attachment particular to the Réunion, where he lived with three recoveries. At the age of 14-15 years, it was provided education for there with the Tampon. It is there that he discovered the cartoon. It returns there as a student to 18-19 years to obtain its DEUG there sciences. Lastly, after having obtained its Mathematical Capes of , it will go back there later during six years. It will marry there and its first child will be born to with it.

After having started by imitating Franquin then Moebius, it takes part in 1986 in the creation of the Fanzine /pro-zine réunionnais the Cry Of Margouillat . It publishes thereafter a first history in Circus in 1989 then another in the collection Seven stories of pirates in 1993. It launches out finally in the adaptation before returning to original creation with Appollo, another author réunionnais.
