Lexicology

The lexicology is a discipline studied by the consistent Linguistique in the study of the Lexique of a language.
Here two definitions close one to the other of important linguists.
- according to Ferdinand de Saussure, it is the science of the words;
- according to Georges Matoré, the analytical study of the facts of vocabulary.
