Levroux is a common French, located in the department of the Indre and the area Center.
Small town architecturalement typical of the center of France, with roofs in tiles steeply sloping punts, Levroux has some very beautiful houses of the Moyen-âge, decorated in frontage with half-timberings and carved beams.
To also note superb collegial the Saint-Sylvain in whom one can admire to it (probably) older organ case of France, sheltering a modern instrument but of esthetics and composition 17th century of Jean-Wolf Bushel.
The laid down Shepherd, of 1930, of the sculptor Ernest Nivet (1871-1948) raises of Rodin, version monumental out of stone of his shepherd laid down on the belly of 1906, offered to the town of Levroux by Maître Bubble and transferred on the place from the Town hall in 1994, close to collegial the Saint-Sylvain.
