Levels
The levels is the higher level of a masonry work, generally put well flat, being used as a basis for the continuation of construction: - foundation levels on which the wall starts, - in walls in traditional limousinery or dry stone, intermediate levelling courses which correspond to " journées" of work (if the binder is lime, it has time to make its catch during the night…) - top of the wall levels on which support the frame takes.
Last base of level of a wall or part of wall drawn up in order to support other materials.
