The lettuce of the vines ( Lactuca viminea ) is generally a plant bi-annual or long-lived, especially Mediterranean, of small size, pertaining to the kind Lactuca and to the family of the Astéracées (or Made up).
Description

Plant at generally woody, ramified enough base. Glabrous and sticky stem. Sheet S basal pennatilobate, generally whole sheets caulinaires. Flowerheads yellow gilded laid out into small Bunch S along the branches. Each flowerhead carries relatively little flowers, or florets (5 generally, sometimes 4). The florets all are ligulas and with 5 teeth. The Fruit S are small Akène S flattened and elliptic.
