Leopoldo Calvo-Sotelo
Leopoldo Calvo-Sotelo Bustelo (born the April 14th 1926) is a Spanish politician there, old president of the Government during the democratic transition.
In 1967 - 1968, he is president of the RENFE (company of the railroads Spanish) and legal representative with the the Cortes for the Union of chemical industries (1971).
In December 1975, it is named Minister commercial in the government of Carlos Arias Navarro then at other ministerial positions under the government of Adolfo Suárez as from July 1976.
The February 23rd 1981, it succeeds Suárez at the station of president of the Government. The same day, an coup attempt of State takes place in the Cortes.
The December 2nd 1982, after the vitoire of PSOE to the legislative elections, Felipe González becomes the new president of the Government.
