Biography

Leonor Varela was born on December 29th 1972 with Santiago. His/her father is a famous Chilean biologist, Francisco Varela, and his mother, Leonor Palma, a dancer free-Hungarian woman.

She passed her childhood to the Costa Rica following the departure of her family of the Chile to flee the dictatorship of Pinochet. She also lived some time in Germany, with the the United States and in France. In 1990, his/her parents went back to Chile while it decided to remain with Paris to follow courses of theater to the School of the Passage directed by Niels Arestrup.
