Leonardo Fea

Leonardo Fea is a explorer, a zoologist and a Italian Artiste , born the July 24th 1852 with Turin and dead the April 27th 1903 in this same city.
He is assistant with the Muséum of Genoa of 1872 with 1903. He makes several important voyages whose in Burma in 1885 and where he spends four years, in the Golfe of Guinea and in the islands of the Cape Verde in 1898. He brings back zoological rich person collections of them, in particular of Oiseau X and Insecte S. His/her friend Adelaro Tommaso Paleotti Salvadori (1835-1923) dedicates to him the Merle of Fea or Turdus feae in 1887 and the Pétrel gongon or Pterodroma feae in 1899.
