Leonardo BOF

Leonardo BOF , (born in 1938 with Concórdia) one of the leaders of the Theology of the release to the Brazil in the years 1970-80.

It was sanctioned by the doctrinal authorities of the the Vatican, which compare the Théologie of the release to the Marxisme, and which, in 1985, intimated “silence and obedience to him”.

The Congregation for the doctrines of the faith, chaired by the cardinal Ratzinger, convened Leonardo BOF with Rome and any publication prohibits to him. There could remain priest, however, and remained active within the Church in Brazil (conferences, conferences) before being seen intimating the order by Rome to give up any contact with outside.

It left then the Sacerdoce Franciscain and engaged in the popular Service of organization of assistance to the mothers and the children of the streets, with Petrópolis. In the Catholic religion, to leave priesthood is an act of Apostasie.

He married, informellement, with Mrs Márcia Monteiro da Silva Miranda.

In 2001, it accepted the alternate Nobel Prize. It took part in the Worldwide social forum in Porto Alegre.
