Leonard Carlitz
Leonard Carlitz (December 26th, 1907 - September 17th, 1999) is a mathematician.
Initiator of the Arithmetic of the bodies of functions. It introduces what will be called thereafter the " modulate of Carlitz" , first of the " modules of Drinfeld".
