Many a Tramway S was also propelled by engines Serpollet steam.
Some Peugeot, manufacturer of Bicycle S in the Doubs, buy Serpollet engines for its first cars. But like other manufacturers, it will pass to the new whole Engine spark-ignition. However, the car with vapor remains in string until little before the Great War and it is defended well: it is a Serpollet which pulverizes the speed records to 120,8 km/h in 1903!
