Leon Trépanier

Leon Trépanier (1881 - 1967) was a Québécois journalist and politician.

Native of Quebec, it studies with the Université of Ottawa and begins his journalistic career with Montreal in 1901. He writes in the Press, the Fatherland and the Duty.

He is alderman for Lafontaine of 1921 with 1938. At the end of the Years 1920, it is moreover the president of the Société Saint-Jean-Baptist of Montreal. At the beginning of the Years 1930, it directs the Municipal council of Montreal.

At the end of its life, it forges a career of historian and cultural organizer. Member of the Company of the Ten, Trépanier publishes the biography of several Maires of Montreal. He dies in 1967.
