Jean-Baptiste Leon Say , born the June 6th 1826 with Paris and dead the April 21st 1896 in Paris, is a economist and Politician French.
He is wire of Horace Emile Say (1794-1860), grandson of Jean-Baptiste Say (1767-1832) and great nephew of Louis Say (1774-1840), all three economists of reputation. Journalist, it writes many articles tackling the financial management of the Baron Haussmann in the Journal of the debates . He launches out in policy in 1869, supported by the Cheuvreux of which he is close relative. He is elected with the Academy of Science morals and political in 1874 and with the French Academy in 1886.
