Leon Robert

Leon Robert , born with Voncq the August 4th 1813, deceased with Paris the June 4th 1887.

Old Mayor of Voncq, former member of the National Assembly, grandson of conventional. Under the Monarchy of July, he collaborated in the National and was elected in 1848 representative of the Ardennes to the Constituent one, from which he was one of the secretaries. He was not re-elected with Legislative and returned in the private life. Adversary of the Empire during all its existence, it was elected appointed the Ardennes with the National Assembly with a by-election in 1872. It sat at the republican union until 1876. Various times candidate years senatorial elections and legislative, in particular in 1885, it were not re-elected.
