Leon Pierre Emile Dalmas de Lapérouse , French admiral, born the August 18th 1805 with Brest, deceased the October 26th 1874 with Paris.
Entered in 1818 at the School of Navy with Angouleme, it leaves in 1820 there to make countryside with the the Antilles and Newfoundland on the frigate Duchesse of Berry . He is lieutenant the April 26th 1831. Then in 1836, it embarks on Venus and went on a journey around the world under the orders of the admiral Dupetit-Thouars. He is lieutenant commander the December 21st 1840, and rear-admiral de France the April 30th 1864.
