Leon Minkus

Ludwig Aloisius Minkus , known as Leon Minkus , is a Austrian Compositeur born in Grossmeseritsch (in Czech Velké Meziříčí ) close to Brown ( Brno ) the March 23rd 1826 and died in Vienna the December 7th 1917.

One knows few things of the first years of his life, but one finds it in 1853 like First violin of the orchestra of prince Youssoupov, then it is engaged like Leader Théâtre Bolchoï of 1861 with 1872.
