Leon Laydernier

Leon Laydernier (1866 - 1958) was born and deceased with Annecy (Haute-Savoie). It is resulting from a phratry of 12 children.

Leon Laydernier marked all the spirits of his time by his vision of the things (largely in advance over its time), his open-minded and his dynamism. It was a figure impossible to circumvent of the economic advancement and tourist of the Haute-Savoie.

Entered in 1890 as clerk with the Banque de France, it took in 1896 the direction of the commercial bank of Annecy, which will become future the Banque Laydernier.

It was also, amongst other things things, the founder of the company of the Tram Annecy-Thônes, chairman of the board of the electric company of the Forces of Trusting, mayor of Saint-Jean-with-Sixt, president of the tourist office of Annecy and Haute-Savoie, administrator-founder of the company of the Caves and Cascades of Seythenex, creator and inspirer of the cable car of Lac of Annecy, president of the company of the rolls of the dice Schmid Roost & Co (future SNR), president-founder of the general private clinic of Annecy.
