Leon Festinger
Leon Festinger is a Psychosociologue American born with New York in 1919 and died in 1989.
He is the author of the theory of the cognitive Dissonance ( has off theory cognitive dissonance , 1957) by which he tries to explain how the human being manages the tensions generated by incompatible information.
Leon Festinger worked out his concept of Dissonance cognitive following his study of a soucoupic Secte which believed that the end of the world was close and that the Extraterrestre S would come to seek them soon.
