Leon Dehon
Leon Dehon (Capelle 1843 - Brussels 1925), social canon, is the founder of the Société of the priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus . He contributed in his writings to the spirituality of the Sacred Heart and the study of the social questions in the Catholic church. He organized social works in Saint-Quentin (Saint-Joseph patronage, Midsummer's Day college) and founded the congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (SCJ) of Saint-Quentin, in the spirit of the Gospel and the spirit of love of repair inherited co. Marguerite-Marie Alacoque. Congregation SCJ quickly essaimé in Europe and in the countries of mission.
