Leon-Robert Dalmas de Lapérouse , military French, born the January 4th 1842 with Algiers, deceased the February 22nd 1915 with Paris.

It enters to Saint-Cyr military school in 1861, promoted second lieutenant on October 1st 1863 in the cavalry. Employee in North Africa in 1864 and 1865, then with the task force of Rome in 1867; on his return, lieutenant with the 3rd regiment of hunters was promoted, the December 25th 1867.

In 1870, it made countryside against Germany with the Armée with the Rhine and was made prisoner with the Capitulation of Metz. Captain in 4th Hussards the April 23rd 1872, it made the Campagne of Tunisia in 1881, quoted with the Order of the task force the June 27th, decorated with the Légion of honor in July 1881. Major to the 8th regiment of Dragons, the October 28th 1885. Lieutenant-colonel of the 1st hunters of Africa the December 26th 1888. Returns to the Dragons as colonel of the 11th regiment, the July 10th 1892. Officer of the Legion of honor, was promoted Brigadier general the July 11th 1898.

It ordered the cavalry of the 3rd body and the subdivisions of Bernay in 1903 and of Evreux in 1905. It passed, by anticipation, in the framework of reserve and died in Paris, commander of the Legion of honor, without posterity.
