Leninism

Running political asserting Lénine.

In addition to the fact of having directed the Russia of 1917 with 1922, Lénine is in addition the author of various works often former on its arrival with the pouvoir : the State and the revolution , Materialism and empiriocriticism

After the death of Lénine in 1924, Leninism was divided into three currents:

  • the Trotskisme

  • the Bordiguisme or Left Italian Communist;
  • the Stalinism (sometimes indicated like Marxism-Leninism, term invented by Stalin)

Since, another Leninist current appeared: the Opéraïsme.

These currents have contradictory analyzes and practices, even opposite.

Leninism is in addition criticized by other currents asserting Marxisme  : the Luxembourgisme being based in particular on the criticism made by Rosa Luxemburg with Lénine as of 1903, reproaching him for being too authoritative and for supporting the chiefs rather than the masses  ; as well as the Anationalisme, showing Lénine of nationalism.

It is necessary to be careful when one speaks about Leninism. Leninism is a creation of Zinoviev, as he recognized itself. For Stalin, Leninism is a machine of war to fight and draw aside Trotski capacity and PC. A few years later, Stalin makes of it the official theory on which it sets up his dictatorship. It is clear that the thought of Lénine evolved/moved during the various moments of its life, it is in the sense that it is not possible to speak about Leninism. For the majority of the historians of the thought, this concept calls upon a concept of centralized party which exerts a certain form of dictatorship of the proletariat.

According to Boris Souvarine, “the “Marxism-Leninism” is an untrue phrase created by Stalin after the death of Lénine (1924) to camouflage its monstrous intrigues: it is actually synonymous with Stalinism, true antithesis of the Marxism and caricatures even Leninism. ”
