Guillaume Costeley is a French musician of the Renaissance. He was born about 1530 with Pont-Audemer and died the 1606 with Évreux.

He was Organiste, attended the humanistic mediums and was in particular in contact with Rémy Belleau.

Musician at the court of the Valois last, Charles IX and Henri III, it composed of the official parts to the manner of Clément Janequin, the Catch of Calais and the Catch of Le Havre . Curious and intelligent, it would have tried to write music in third of tons, but this idea did not have a continuation.

It published in 1570 a collection of 95 polyphonic songs heading “the Music” .
