Length Island Railroad
The Long Island Railroad , or LIRR is a system of Suburban train which serves Long Island, in the State of New York. Length Island Rail Road is the suburban train more used the United States, with 81 million passengers transported per annum, and oldest with still circulating on its original name. The two lines of the LIRR are divided into eight branches and serve 124 stations on more than 112 kilometers of ways on the two dimensions of the island. It belongs to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, which baptized it MTA Long Island Rail Road.
Length Island Railroad functions since 1834, and has many connections with the Métro of New York.
