Lendu
The people Lendu are a ethno-linguistics group of farmers residing in the province Orientale of the Democratic republic of Congo, and more particularly in the area of the Ituri, in the west and the north-ouets of the Lac Albert. The language is of nilo-Saharan origin - central Sudan - is - Lendu. There exist roughly 750.000 Lendu speakers in DRC, and more than 10.000 in Uganda. A conflict between Lendu and the Hema is at the base of the Conflit in Ituri.
