Lena Kolarska-Bobińska

The professor Lena Kolarska-Bobińska is graduate of Sociologie of the university of Warsaw. It follows post-doctoral studies to the “Stanford University” and to the “School Business off Carnegie Mellon University”.

From 1991 to 1997, it was the director of CBOS, the greatest research center of the public opinion of Poland. Since 1997, it is director of the institute of the public affairs of Poland (“”), independent public agency being said.

Kolarska-Bobińska, author of more than 150 publications, books and articles. It is lecturer in universities in Poland and abroad. Frequently, it presents its observations on political and social developments for Polish and international media, in particular in the French newspaper “ the Echoes ” where it is chroniqueuse regular.

Kolarska-Bobińska is member of much of and Association committees and advisory Polish and international. It was member of the economic council of President Lech Wałęsa (1992 - 1995), adviser of the negotiator as a chief for the accession of Poland towards the EU (1998 - 2001) and member of the think tank of President Aleksander Kwaśniewski (2001 - 2005).
