Lemberg is a German commune, located in the Land of the Rhineland-Palatinat and the district of Palatinat-South-West, near the French border.
History
In 1606, the territory of the Comté of Hanau-Lichtenberg is joined together with the bailliage of Lemberg. The Village passes in 1736, with all the seigniory, with the landgrave of Hesse - Darmstadt, Louis VIII, which is the son-in-law of the count Johann-Reinhardt of Hanau-Lichtenberg and becomes its heir in 1786.
