Leland H. Hartwell
Leland H. (Lee) Hartwell (born on October 30th, 1939 in Los Angeles, California) is president and director of the Center Fred Hutchinson de Recherche on Cancer in Seattle, Washington. It obtained the Nobel Prize of Physiology and Médecine in 2001 for its contributions to the comprehension of the life cycle of the cells. The other prizes winner of this Nobel Prize in 2001 were Paul Nurse and Tim Hunt.
