Leibnitz is a provincial town of Styrie cash, in 2001, approximately 6892 inhabitants. The population of the commune increases slowly. Leibnitz is a city known for its wine, its culture, its schools and its trade. Close to the downtown area one finds many inns, coffees and restaurants, and some small hotels and pensions. The city is located at the south of Graz close to the two rivers the Mur and Sulm.
