Legislative elections seychelloises of 2007
legislative elections took place with the Seychelles of the 10 to the 12 May 2007. They were gained by the popular Front progressist of Seychelles (FPPS), with the capacity since 1977.
Context
Since October 2006, the deputies of the opposition (Left national Seychelles) boycotted the meetings of the National Assembly, following an illegal demonstration which had degenerated with Victoria.
The 20 March 2007, the president James Michel had announced the dissolution of the National Assembly by reproaching the opposition her boycott.
Results
Rate of participation amounts to 85,9%.
