Legislative Parliament of Virginia
The Virginia General Assembly is the legislative assembled of the American State of Virginia. Its existence off goes up with the establishment of the House Burgesses with Jamestown in 1619. It became the General Assembly in 1776 after the ratification of the Constitution of Virginia.
The General Assembly is a bicameral body composed of a Lower House, the Virginia House off Delegates , including/understanding 100 members and the Upper House, the Virginia Senate which counts 40 of them.
