Legislative Parliament of Ontario

The legislative Assemblée of Ontario is the legislative body of the Canadian province of the Ontario. It sits in the parliamentary buildings with Queen' S Park, with Toronto. The Act of British North America of 1867 , section 69, stipulates: " There will be, for Ontario (sic), a legislature made up of the lieutenant-governor and only one room called the legislative assembly of Ontario (sic). " The legislative assembly is monocamérale, without Upper House, with 103 seats representing of the districts elected according to the uninominal way of voting with a turn with the size of the province. Three political trainings are represented there: the Liberal party of Ontario, which forms a majority Gouvernement with its 70 Député S; the Left progressist-conservative Ontario, which forms the official opposition with 24 deputies; and the New Democratic party of Ontario, with 9 deputies.

The assembly is also known (semi-officially) under the name of provincial Parlement of Ontario .
