Legislative Parliament of Manitoba

The legislative Assemblée of Manitoba is the legislative branch of the government of the Canadian province of the Manitoba. Fifty-seven Député S is elected at this assembly at the time of provincial general elections according to the mode of majority Uninominal system to a turn. Three political parties are represented there: the New Democratic party of Manitoba, which holds a parliamentary majority and forms the government; the Left progressist-conservative Manitoba, which forms the official opposition; and the Liberal party of Manitoba. Only one seat is vacant.

The parliamentary building of Manitoba is in the center of the provincial capital, Winnipeg, where the districts of Wolseley and Fort Red meet. It was built in 1920 and rises with a 77 meters height. It was drawn by Simon and Boddington. The building is famous for the statue which is placed on the top of the cupola, the Golden Servant boy .
