Legion
Erik Hagstedt , known under the pseudonym of Legion , is a Chanteur of Black metal.
It begins its career while singing in Dissection and Ophtalamia before joining Marduk in 1995. It takes part with this group in the recording of the albums Heaven shall burn… when we are gathered , live in germania , Nightwing , Panzer Division Marduk , Obedience , Infernal Eternal , the Great Macabre Dance , World Funeral and of the live DVD Funeral Marches and War Songs . It has contributes to the success and famous of Marduk thanks to an identifiable and rather particular voice in this kind of music.
December 9th 2003, it announces its departure of the group without explanation. Morgan Hakansson (leader of the group) found it sympathetic nerve with the public, which is not compatible with this style of music, supposed to release from hatred (value satanist) and not the communion (Christian value). The success of Legion within the group thus showed the inanity of this dogma.
Legion currently works on the project Rebelangels (heavy traditional metal) with the B-war bass player him also former member of Marduk.
