Robert Moses " Lefty" Grove (March 6th 1900 - May 22nd 1975) was a launcher major Ligues of baseball. It is better known to have recorded 300 victories in career.

Career

Athletics of Philadelphia acquired Grove for $ 100.500 in 1925. He was the player expensive of the major leagues. He gains only 10 parts at the time of his first season, but returns with more than 20 victories 7 times of sharpened between 1927 and 1933, including 30 victories and 4 defeats in 1931. He records only 8 victories in 1934, but finishes his career with 107 victories between 1935 and 1941. Its percentage of victories is 0,680, eighth among the launchers, and first among the launchers which have at least 240 victories. In 1947 it is elected with the temple of re-elected baseball and in 1999 it is elected with the team of the century.
