Leendert Gerrit Westerink (November 2nd, 1913 - January 24th, 1990), Dutch philologist specialist in the neoplatonism.

Biography

Doctor of the university of Nimègue in 1948. Professor de Lycée with Emmen, in the Netherlands, of 1945 to 1965, it is named at the university of New York with Buffalo in 1965. He was professor invited to the Collège de France in 1970, and researcher associated with CNRS in Paris in 1973-1974. With published the texts of Proclus, Porphyry of Tyr, Damascius, Olympiodore, Photius, Michel Psellus…, forty works in all.
