Lectra SA (In the past Lectra Systems SA), is a French company based in Paris, World leader of the textile solutions (Cutting, design and developments), founded in 1972 by the brothers Bernard and Jean Etcheparre.

History

It is into 1972 that the history starts for Bernard and Jean Etcheparre.

" After a few years in aeronautics for one and data processing for the other, they create a consultancy together and invent, in 1972, for one of their customer of the clothes industry, a kind of pantograph controlled by computer.
