The Lech is a river of Austria and Germany. It takes its source close to the winter sports resort of Lech amndt Arlberg, in the Vorarlberg, in Austria. It is fed by a certain number of lakes, of which Weissen-See, Hopfen-See or Bannwald-See. It sprinkles Füssen, Schongau, Augsburg, and joined the the Danube downstream from Donauwörth. The Napoleonean administration had called one of the circles created in 1808 of the name of the river.
