The lebensborn were institutions, developed under the Third Reich, where were to procreate subjects of pure Aryan Race (in particular of the soldiers S) in order to constitute the elite future “Empire some 1.000 years”. The women were confined then in the greatest secrecy, with the result that, with the 21e century, of the descendants seek their parents hopelessly.
The term lebensborn is a Néologisme formed starting from leben = " vie" and born = " naissance" , in German old. Marc Hillel translated it into French by “ Fontaines of life ”.
History
In the spirit of expensive racial purification to the Nazi S, Heinrich Himmler opens, the August 15th 1936, the first establishment with Steinhöring, close to Ebersberg in High-Bavaria comprising 30 beds for the moms and 55 for the children to be born. Thus, more: 200000 children will be taken along in Germany, being in particular fair to the blue eyes, they are entrusted to selected German families.
A fifth only of these children will be found and returned to their true parents.
The Maternity of the the Ardennes
