Lebanese international university
The Lebanese international University (UIL; Arabic : الجامعةاللبنانيةالدولية}}), had by the Lebanese former minister for defense Mr Abdul Rahim Mourad, was founded in April 2001, like Université of Bekaa , with its campus in Bekaa, Al-Khyara, Al Gharbi of Al Bekaa, and has since received a diploma its first class of first-year student in June 2002. With a vision to become a true national university with the international presence, a new campus in Beirut was opened and the name was changed into: " International university (UIL) libanaise". Another campus later was built beside Sidon in Lebanon of the south, and there are proposals to build the international campuses in Egypt, in Romania, Saudi Arabia, Syria, with the United Arab Emirates, and the Yemen. Its language of the instruction is English, but the majority of its students prefer to cause the ones with the others in Arabic.
Teaching body
The UIL includes five teaching bodies:- School of arts and science
- School of the businesses and management
- School of education
- School of the Technology
- School of Pharmacy
The mission
The mission of the Lebanese international university is to provide the possible higher quality of more raised education, a formation and a research, in order to meet the needs for the individuals and communities and companies in Lebanon and in the whole Arab world.
