Lebane

Lebane , in Serb Cyrillic Лебане, is a city and a municipality of Serbia located in the district of Jablanica, with the confluence of the rivers Jablanica and Šumanska Reka. In 2002, the city counted 10.004 inhabitants and the municipality of which it is center 24.918.

To 7 km of Lebane the vestiges of the town of Justiniana Prima, known are locally under the name of Caričin Grad. It was built by the emperor Justinien to mark the place of its birth. One can see remainders of fortifications in particular there.
