The emperor Frederic III proposes to gather the cities and the nobility within the Great League of Souabe. This coalition, to which the emperor grants a constitution, counts four principal groups: the twenty-two cities of Souabe, the order of knighthood says league of Saint-Georges, the area directed by Sigismond, archduke of Austria, and that carried out by Eberhard VI of Wurtemberg, which becomes captain, or commander-in-chief, of the League.
