League Savoyard

See also: League

The Savoyard Ligue is a Political party independence ( desannexionnist ) Savoyard founded in 1995 by Jean de Pingon, after the publication of articles in the weekly magazine Faucigny and Savoyard Présence (body published by the Cercle of the Year), a few years before. Taking the name of League of the Savoyard Rights , then League of Savoy , it quickly becomes Savoyard Ligue . It is directed by Patrice Abeille, former regional adviser the Rhone-Alps.

Political resources

The Savoyard League diffused several speeches in order to sensitize the Savoyards with their independence thesis:
  • historical, legal and international Speech reproaching the non-observance of the Treated of Turin of 1860, called into question of the Annexation of Savoy because of nullity of this treaty since 1947.
  • economic Speech, establishing the self-sufficiency of the Savoy
  • Political discourse, participation in the French elections since 1998

Diffusion of these speeches through conferences (at the beginning of creation), then in a monthly magazine (the Patriote Savoyard (1995-97), which was replaced by the Echo of Savoy (1997-2004), itself become the Savoyard ). Following a bringing together with the Movement Area Savoy in 1999, the Savoyard League could obtain a statute of observer within the federation Régions and Interdependent people (excluded in 2005 following declarations with tendency islamophobes from its founder). This strategy their made it possible, in addition, to become member of the European free Alliance and to be able to bind contacts with other nationalist movements at the European level.

Europe

The 11th congress took place in November 2006 with Saint-Gervais-the-Baths. At the time of this congress, the Savoyards confirmed their attachment with a federal Europe . They estimate that European construction is currently " blocked because of France " , whose financial hole did not cease increasing since 1981 gold " the country is not reformable any more ".
