A leaflet , or by Anglicism a flyer , is a Publicité on support Papier, distributed in person (in the gatherings Militant S or on the Trottoir S) or directly deposited in the letter-boxes, in order to make pass from the ideas, or to announce an artistic, cultural event or Politique. In the case of a purely commercial subject, one speaks rather about Prospectus.
The purpose of it is to make pass a maximum of information to a maximum of people. The leaflet can be “artisanal”, in the case of a Direct action for example, printed and written with the means of the edge, or within the framework of a more important organization, printed by a professional, with a better quality (colors and on a more solid support for example).
A mention must obligatorily be registered on the leaflet: “Not to throw on the public highway”.
