Leading article
In the journalistic field , the leading is a article which reflects the position of the editor or the drafting on a topic of topicality. It can be also used to emphasize a file published in the newspaper.
Originally confined in the first pages of the newspapers of Written press, the leading article is also found in radio programs and of television, on Web sites of information and on supports Multimédia S. It is generally signed by the Editor association of the newspaper but can also be entrusted to a privileged representative of the drafting, called leader-writer.
For the publications which show of objectivity or neutrality in their articles, the leading article constitutes a space of freedom where a certain point of view is expressed. One should not however confuse the leading article with the tickets and the articles known as “of comment” or “mood”, intended to make known the personal positions of its author, that it is Editor association, large Reporter or chronicler. In a leading article, the author seldom expresses with the first anybody whereas it can do it in a text of mood or opinion.
