Of return in Belgium in 1931, it opens in Antwerp a school which will train large pedagogs of the dance until in the Années 1980. Parallel to teaching, it creates many choreographic compositions with an small group of pupils and, since 1935, it puts in scene works expressionnists based sometimes on Flemish popular topics ( Boerendans , Arme mensen , etc), sometimes on subjects epic ( Jeanne d' Arc , Dulle Griei ). She also takes part, with her group of dance, with many popular holidays, processions and urban demonstrations.
Professor with the Studio Hermann Teirlinck of 1946 to 1972, it teaches with the academies of music of Antwerp and Ghent and initiates young actors and musicians with the principles of the dance and movement. Militant committed in the Flemish movement of the post-war period, it transposes in the dance the claim of a specific culture, removed from French-speaking hegemony.
