Le Monde interactive

Initially weekly supplement paper devoted to new technologies, Le Monde interactive became since October 2001 the supplement Web of the newspaper Le Monde .

It is in spring 2000 that was creates the gate tout.lemonde.fr. Le Monde decided, after this unhappy experiment, to center itself on its trade: information.

Now, the fusion of both gave a product definitely more general public: many a blogs revolves around this version screen of the French daily newspaper of reference. More and more of occasional readers, when they hear with the radio information resulting from the Monde , have the reflex of surfer to find it in detail. Only flat, as on the interactive Barber and not on the interactive Nouvelobs , these texts disappears at the end of a few days from the free site to be accessible only to the subscribers or in paying files.

The subscribers profit however from a certain number of original services:

a morning daily letter, the checklist, sent to 8:00. It is a true mini-newspaper equipped with a ticket of mood, the Sandpaper of Herve Tellier and a cartoon, the Strip of Xavier Gorce.
a morning daily letter of presentation of the infos present in Le Monde of the day, sent to 9:00.
a stock exchange daily letter with 12:15.
Of the letters sets of themes and the files, a radio, the “band”, etc

In September 2006, Le Monde launched a new service: the Electronic Newspaper . It is thus possible to divide into sheets Le Monde on line. To read the articles in details, a subscription is proposed.
