Le Monde green

Le Monde green is a Romance of Science-fiction, written in 1962 by Brian Aldiss (the United Kingdom). It obtained the Prix Hugo (category shorts fiction ) in 1962.

Summary

Le Monde green describes a remote future in which the Earth, which does not turn any more, was transformed into a gigantic greenhouse dominated by the plants. Those formidably evolved/moved and acquired frightening predatory capacities. The man regressed as well cuts some as in knowledge and must fight savagely to survive in this jungle.
