Le Monde de Nemo (or To find Némo with the Quebec) is the 5th Cartoon film in Synthesized images of the studios Pixar. By-product by Walt Disney Pictures, it left in 2003.
Synopsis
After the death of his wife Coral, Sailor, a
Clownfish, must take care of his son, Nemo, handicapped by an atrophied fin. At the time of its first day of school, Sailor, anxious, decides to follow it at the time of a school exit. In order to prove its value with his/her buddies, Nemo decides to swim to surface to touch a mysterious boat. At this point in time it is made remove by a plunger.
Sailor, who attends impotent this scene, springs then with the continuation of the boat. Unfortunately, this one is too much fast, and Sailor inlassablement continues the search for his son. On its way, it makes the meeting of beautiful Dory, a fish-surgeon having “disorders of the short-term memory”…

Reactions
The French author of books for children Franck Calvez continued Disney in justice, judging that the main character of the film (Némo) plagiarized the hero of his book,
Pierrot the clownfish . He asked for the withdrawal of certain derivative products (books, cuddly toys) imitating his character. The Court of Bankruptcy of Paris gave its judgment the
April 20th 2005 and condemned Franck Calvez to pay damages in Disney and Pixar, estimating that there were no similarities proven between two fish. Disney had deposited the image of Némo in February 2002, the book
Pierrot the clownfish was published in November 2002, the Pierrot character was deposited in February 2003 by the editor Flaven Scene.

Adaptation concerned video
Several adaptations concerned video were carried out, and others are under development.
The first adaptation developed by Traveller' S Bruise for the consoles GameCube and PlayStation 2 was published in November 14th, 2003 by THQ. It is a Jeu of platform for child. He accurately takes again the screen of the history of film with in particular of many extracts of film.
A second adaptation developed by KnowWonder for Microsoft Windows and by Vicarious Visions for Game Boy Advance is published by THQ in November 2003. It is a play of adventure and reflection for the small touts (3 years and more, according to classification PEGI). Nemo is made kidnap by a plunger, and his/her Marin father puts himself at his research using Dory. The play arises in a succession of fixed screens in which the player must dialog with the characters of film, or to solve little games, to pass to the screen following. The player must at the same time make evolve/move Marin but also Nemo. Extracts of film are used as interlude.
A last adaptation for the console Nintendo DS, left in March 2006.
